Fruitful discussions and sharing ideas at Clare College, Cambridge

Clareity Research Symposium 2016

The 9th Clareity Research Symposium was held in the Gillespie Conference Centre, Memorial Court on Thursday 10 March 2016.

It was a great day with multiple talks ranging from music to engineering, from undergraduates, graduates, CRAs and fellows of Clare College. We had two exceptionally interesting keynote talks by Prof Marina Frolova-Walker about ‘Stalin’s Playlist’ and by Prof Lorraine Tyler about ‘Brain: cognition and ageing’. Both talks raised numerous questions and discussions continued over the breaks.

The day was finished off with a three-course dinner in the small hall for all the speakers and chairs.

Congratulations to Sam Fabian who won the first prize for his wonderful presentation on insect wing evolution.
